Rosemary Tea

It’s been a while since I did a Recipe.  I thought of this as I froze my hind parts off in DC.  Where I love my city it was just too dang cold!  I love a good cup of tea especially if it has qualities that are good for you!  Rosemary is known for having a positive effect on your memory.  It has been said that Rosemary may fight Cancer, and Alzheimer’s.  It contains Vitamins A, B, C, and E.  Basically brewing your own fresh Rosemary can be beneficial to you.
So get some Rosemary, brew some tea, invite a friend over, and relax.

How to Brew:
Boil some water, when it’s a slow boil add 1 fresh sprig of Rosemary.  Let steep for 3-5 Min.  Much longer and it will get bitter.  I like to add Lemon and Honey (Orange Blossom Honey).
What’s nice about the Sprig is you don’t need to filter the tea once it is brewed. 
This past weekend I went to Arlington Virginia for a baby shower.  My cousin and his wife are expecting their first baby.  The shower was so wonderful.  We got to visit with family and friends.  Both my Aunt’s were there which made my mom happy.  Of course I went shopping after the shower and can’t wait to share what I picked up.  There is something about consignment stores in Alexandrian that just rock!  The women who live there purchase designer clothing wear them a few times and sell them……score for me!
