Casual Holiday Party

I love a fun faux fur jacket.  Funny enough when I wear this complete strangers will pet me.  I just shake my head (inwardly).  It is a soft fun jacket to wear.  I picked it up from F21 years ago, I have linked a similar one above.  On pieces like this I don’t like to spend much money, so F21 is an ideal place to go!
Brosway released a new collection called Infinity and I LOVE it!  The rings are sparkly and amazing!  I will be adding a few of these to my collection.  If you aren’t aware, Brosway is an Italian jewelry designer.  They started selling in the US a year ago.  The pieces are high quality and affordable!  I have several rings and wear them daily.  They do not tarnish, or break down with daily wear.  This brand is at the top of my go to list!
The earrings are so fun!  They are a two piece set that you can wear as long earrings or take the extender off and wear as a pretty stud.  Having versatility is always nice.
This is an outfit I would wear to a casual Christmas Party.  I have several coming up and like to wear fun items like this jacket.  By pairing it with a metallic top I feel it is dressy and yet playful.

This past weekend was just crazy!!  I am on the Board of The Chapel Hill Service League and our big annual event Christmas House.  Christmas House provides Christmas to less fortunate children in Orange County, NC.  In 2015 we served over 800 children by providing a new coat, 2 new toys, and 2 new books.  Families are selected by Social Workers in the school system.  We are given information and invitations are sent out.  Each family RSVP’s to a selected time slot.  The parents come (10 every 15 minutes) to “shop” for their children.  We discourage the attendance of Children as this is meant to be a way for the parents to provide Christmas without sacrificing.
Thanks to the local Rotary club we are able to offer a chance to win a new bike!  Each family is given the chance to win one bike and helmet for a child in their family.  This year we had 60 bikes to raffle off.  This is the most touching part to me as the parents are already over joyed by the gifts, then to win a new bike.  Many will cry and hug our volunteers when they win.
If you are in the Raleigh/Durham area please consider donating a new toy or book.  Our giving trees with “Bears” are around the malls and stores in Chapel Hill.  Check our website for locations.  All toys donated this year will be given in 2017.  For each donated toy we are able to allocate monies raised to purchase other items like coats and bikes, so donations are crucial!
