General Wrap Up
I purchased these shorts on a whim for my trip to Savannah. They are so comfortable and cute. I wore this outfit when exploring my town with my cousins. In NC the mornings are cool and the afternoons, well you can chew the air it’s so thick with humidity. So having an outfit that will be comfortable all day can be challenging. By wearing this cute kimono I was not too cool in the AM and was able to take it off in the afternoon. Plus at $46 for the kimono and $23 for the shorts, this is a very affordable outfit that you can wear on repeat.
I wanted to share an update of the Cotton and wreath I purchased for my room makeover. I ordered 2 large cotton stem ($8 each). After cutting the stem down so it would fit in the silver cup I played with the cotton to maneuver it to look nice. It really finishes off the country look I was going for.
Below, I purchased this wreath for the wall. I had seen many pinterest country bedroom styles that had a wreath on the wall. Now with the head board and the shelf I couldn’t hang it directly above the head of the bed so I opted for the side. When we purchase a home later this year I will hang it above the head board. I have to say for $34 the quality and look of this wreath is amazing! You would find a wreath of this quality for much more $$ in a store like Home Goods, Target, or similar stores.
I only linked the shorts because the necklace is very old and the other items are linked above. These are another purchase for Savannah that I am in love with. I saw the scarf below on an IG post and loved it. While checking out the Loft website I saw these shorts and knew I would have so much fun styling them! They are silky and perfect for the insane heat and humidity we will find while in Savannah. I wore this outfit to a Habitat event this past weekend and felt appropriately dressed.
This scarf is the most perfect scarf for summer. I wore it with a blush top and jeans and knew I wanted to pair it with this dress. I purchased this dress after the Wake Living photoshoot because it was so comfortable and has pockets. Not to mention it is $35! I have worn this dress here, and paired it with the kimono above. It’s so easy to style and perfect for work.
You may notice my legs…..I have been using a new self tanner that I LOVE! It’s all natural and works amazing! I exfoliated my legs and applied the lotion, within a few hours my legs were a nice golden color. I wanted to see how long it would last so I didn’t reapply. I was shocked that the color stayed true for several weeks! The second time I applied it I wanted my legs to be darker so I applied at night and again in the morning. My friend April who owns the store this is sold in couldn’t believe how naturally dark my legs looked and snapped a pic she will share on her company IG page. I have reapplied to keep the color exactly where I want it, natural glow. Hands down the best self tanner I have ever purchased and used. It is so easy to apply and no streaks and you won’t look orange like with other products. I highly recommend you purchase a bottle, and at $26 it’s affordable!
