Espadrille Sneaker

As you can tell from Tuesday’s post I am off schedule this week.  This past weekend I did so much school work, taxes, gardening, and spending time with my husband I missed getting organized for this week’s posts.  Thank you for understanding.  Today is “Fashion Friday” on Thursday.

Getting back into the swing of school (3 courses) and all the other stuff I have to do is making me be off schedule this week.  So here is Fashion Friday a day early.  Last weekend I spent time with my husband, after being gone 5 days visiting my sister in KS we needed a little time.  He was a huge help; we went grocery shopping [meal planning is so important for us], I picked out flowers to plant in my pots and garden, and we picked up supplies for the Engagement party we are hosting this Sunday.  I tell you planning and putting on an engagement party for 2 couples is insane!  I am not sure I will do it again.  I will share next week how I planned and decorated our yard for a fun outdoor themed engagement party.  In total we are expecting 12 people!  For our home that is a lot of people.  I have had fun and thanks to my hubby’s job we have gotten some of the material I needed to make the party a success.  Picture bales of hay with wood across for seating.  Also, huge thanks to my ShaBui for having a cool boyfriend [soon to be finance] who lent me a retired whiskey barrel to use as a table.

Let’s address these Espadrilles!  OMG, I fell in love right away.  They are so comfortable and perfect for spring/summer.  They were a little more than I tend to spend on shoes ($100) but they are a staple and I have already worn them 10 times in the 3 weeks since I purchased them.  I will be wearing them all the time.  Defiantly something I would recommend to round out your wardrobe.
