Shopping for a Cause
I attended a preview event for the Southern Women Show a few weeks ago. While at the event we had the opportunity to learn about a non-profit in Raleigh that helps people with domestic abuse. Interact helps both men and women with domestic violence, sexual assault, and to relocate families who need assistance. They fund their operations with donations of either money or clothing. They have a thrift store that helps raise money, which they had set up at the Southern Women Show and we were able to shop. I purchased 2 tops and a cardigan. This is one of the tops I bought. I love how light it is and perfect for either work or fun. Not to mention when I wear it I am reminded that my purchase helped someone in a bad situation. Wearing clothing that gives back in such an amazing way is close to my heart.
